Topic #1: Why McCain is not my candidate of choice.

First of I would like to point out that today was the last Democratic debate, between Obama and Clinton before Super Tuesday, and it was a major one. It was more important however to note the one on one situation presented due to Edwards dropping out this past week, as well as the calmness in the air. Rarely were there arguments in this debate, more eloquence and separation between the two front-runners of the Democratic Party. While, the Democrats were able to enjoy a a debate, and decide upon legitimate people for the position of President, the Republicans haven’t managed to do that yet.

The Republicans have 3-4 candidates in my mind: John McCain, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, and Ron Paul. Out of these 4 candidates only McCain and Romney have any steam left in them, partially due to the fact that McCain is bandwagon candidate and Romney has cash aplenty. With that said, Huckabee is a great candidate for President, but he really just needs to stay at home, and play his guitar. His style of politics has decreased over time from knowledgeable to dumbass. He won Iowa, but then came out, spewing crap about wiping the IRS of the map, and coming up with the “FairTax Plan”. Then theres Ron Paul, who no one wants to listen because he actually has good ideals (but they might be just a little too liberal for those conservatives), like his idea of being Anti-War. In all fairness, I find Ron Paul the best the Republicans have to offer.

Though Romney is a Governor, and he has millions of dollars to dole out, Conservatives will never vote for him, because of his religion. In this nation of ours, where we talk about liberties and freedom, many citizens persecute a political candidates because of his religious beliefs, something he may have had no influence in choosing. Like Ron Paul, he faces no chance because the Conservatives could care less. This basically leaves us with the last candidate, John McCain.

John McCain….where to begin? When I talk to my friends at lunch (both conservatives and liberals), the conservatives choose to go with McCain, only likely because he is the front-runner, no other real reason. I however, found it more interesting to note how he is winning many state primaries and caucuses and I had to see for myself what this hype was about. So where better to go than: http://www.johnmccain.com . Went to the Issues tab up-top and saw the 2 most important things anyone should really care about. Then and there I realized that John McCain is a big dumbass, and YES bigger than George Bush.

Lets start off with the war. John McCain being a “Vietnam veteran” thinks hes King of the hill. I’m sorry man I’m going to have to bring you back down. There’s thousands of veterans from Vietnam, so you nothing special. On top of that, please remember no one really wants to remember Vietnam, just ask John Kerry, it didn’t help him in 2004. Back to 2008, John McCain makes statements on Iraq like this: “The United States military could stay in Iraq for “maybe a hundred years” and that would be fine with me”. One problem John! Until money starts getting printed out of your ass, no one is going to like that sentence. Why don’t you first start off by writing out a schedule and budget that could suffice us to stay in Iraq for 100 years. To continue showing how much hes just a waste of time, his website beautifully describes him agreeing with an ex-Army general:”John McCain agrees with retired Army General Jack Keane that there are simply not enough American forces in Iraq. More troops are necessary to clear and hold insurgent strongholds.” Just when bush is coming back into his senses, and planning on pulling out troops, here comes the asshole with his great idea of adding more troops.

Clearly showing he has no brains with his worthless remarks on Iraq, it was only safe to bet his ideas for the economy would be no better. When Bush leaves, a country will be in a staggering $5 trillion national debt, and $9 trillion trade deficit, largely due to the rising price of oil, and China, neither of which are Bush’s fault. Yet, here comes John McCain and his plans to cut all sorts of taxes, keep taxes low, and make them hard to change. His ideas would only lead to greater struggles within America for money, and a greater rise in inflation. Keeping taxes low, would not help nourish the government back into a state of power, that it has effectively lacked since January 20th, 2001. His last idea on taxes, which would make it harder to change them, is only funny to laugh at, simply because John McCain is 72 and really close to being dead. By making it difficult to raise taxes, he puts America’s future at risk, while not really being concerned, because his future is relatively small.

With his flawed policies behind him, it is most important to remember that John McCain is no special candidate, because he too is: just another War veteran, a husband 18 years OLDER than his wife, and just another dumbass. Though I’m a liberal (according to my friends, and all readers of this blog), I have a great feeling that Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee will call quits sometime soon, leaving Romney as the other candidate. Conservatives please do your part, and choose Mitt Romney as your 2008 Republican Presidential Candidate.

Wow.

This is somewhat unbelievable because only little more than a month ago did I create a Wordpress blog, yet….. over timeĀ (the course of a month I was done with it). There are many reasons for it particularly the lack of “coolness” or “badass” Wordpress offered. Furthermore, a lack of time left me with little time to do any updates.

This is where Tumblr changed evrything around…just a bit. tumblr allows me to paste interesting AIM conversations without all the complicated copy paste junk as well as post Youtube videos or Flickr pictures in a simplistic manner. This is the homy my new blog or tumblelog as they call it.
